South Africa defeat Sri Lanka for consolation win
South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets to end their World T20 campaign on a high at the Ferozshah Kotla in New Delhi on Monday.

The match was a dead rubber as both teams were already out of contention for the Semi-finals.
Chasing a paltry 121, the Proteas complteted the formality in 17.4 overs with Hashim Amla scoring an unbeaten 56. Captain Faf du Plessis made 31.
Earlier, Kyle Abbott, Farhaan Behardien and Aaron Phangiso grabbed two wickets each as South Africa bowled out Sri Lanka for 120 in 19.3 Phangiso (2-26) got the early breakthroughs while Behardien (2-15) and Abbott (2-14) did the damage later. Experienced opener Tillkaratne Dilshan got 36 off 40 balls.
