India’s Smriti Mandhana retained her No.2 position in the latest ICC Women’s T20I batting rankings, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur moved up to 14th in the list released on Tuesday.

Among Indian batters, Shafali Verma continued to hold sixth place, keeping her spot in the top 10, while Jemimah Rodrigues remained just outside at joint 11th.

In the bowling rankings, spin all-rounder Deepti Sharma climbed one spot to third, also strengthening her position as the No.3-ranked all-rounder. Pacer Renuka Singh Thakur held steady at sixth, while seamer Arundhati Reddy slipped one place to 11th, narrowly missing out on a top-10 spot.

Globally, Australia opener Georgia Voll broke into the top 10 of the batting rankings for the first time. New Zealand captain Sophie Devine also made gains, rising two places to 18th following back-to-back half-centuries against South Africa.

The latest update, which factors in matches from the ongoing series in the West Indies, also saw a historic entry from Rwanda’s 15-year-old Fanny Utagushimaninde, who debuted at No.66 after becoming the first woman to score a T20I century on debut — and the youngest player across men’s and women’s cricket to achieve the feat.

South Africa’s Annerie Dercksen, the ICC Emerging Player of the Year in 2024, surged 18 places to 55th after an unbeaten 55 in New Zealand.

Several all-rounders also registered gains in the batting charts, including Australia’s Ellyse Perry (up two places to 20th) and West Indies’ Qiana Joseph (up 14 places to 33rd). New Zealand’s Maddy Green (44th) and West Indies veteran Stafanie Taylor (48th) also moved up.

In the bowling rankings, South Africa left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba entered the top 10, jumping to ninth after picking up five wickets in three matches. Australia leg-spinner Georgia Wareham also advanced, moving from 16th to 12th.
