Earlier in the innings, while Punjab was chasing, Hardik Pandya delivered a crucial breakthrough by dismissing Josh Inglis, who was threatening to take the game away from Mumbai Indians with a quickfire 38 off just 21 balls. After being put in to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted an impressive total of 203 for 6 in their 20 overs. Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav played pivotal roles, scoring 44 runs each and forging a valuable 72-run partnership for the third wicket to stabilize the innings.
