Punjab Kings’ bowlers delivered a disciplined performance to restrict Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a below-par total of 190 for 9 in the IPL final held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday.

For RCB, Virat Kohli was the top scorer with a steady 43 off 35 balls, while captain Rajat Patidar showed early promise but fell for 26 off 16 deliveries.

Among the standout performers for Punjab, Yuzvendra Chahal returned a tidy spell of 1/37 from his four overs, while Kyle Jamieson impressed with figures of 3 for 48. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai claimed the crucial wicket of Kohli, finishing with 1/35.

The highlight, however, was Arshdeep Singh’s fiery final over, where he picked up three wickets and ended with figures of 3 for 40, capping off a strong bowling effort from Punjab Kings.
