IPL's eternal bridesmaid, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have released the list of players who have been retained and released ahead of the mini-auction in December.

Once again, South African stalwart Faf du Plessis will lead the side, which have released 11 players. It was a very heartbreaking last season for RCB as they missed the playoffs after playing some good cricket that involved the terrific batting of Virat Kohli and skipper Du Plessis.

Once again looking to get their hands over the IPL trophy, RCH have made some big changes by releasing players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood.

RCB have not made any changes to its batting powerhouse, led by India batter Virat Kohli and former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis. To infuse fresh energy and confidence in the team, RCB has brought in legendary Zimbabwe batter and renowned coach Andy Flower on board and Mo Bobat has been named as the new Director of Cricket. Flower was earlier associated with Lucknow Super Giants while Bobat has had a decade-long stint with the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Let’s have a look at the list of released and retained players for RCB:
