Dabangg, Ghajini, Nautanki Saala: T20 World cup stars reveal who is who of the team

Team India recently marked their presence on Netflix with stars like Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel appeared on "The Great Indian Kapil Show" Season 2.

During the episode, the players engaged in playful banter, revealing who among them fits certain Bollywood titles. When asked who the 'Dabangg' of the team is, Suryakumar and Dube unanimously pointed to their captain, Rohit Sharma.


Dube said, "There are many players in our team who can be called Dabangg because of their style. But the main one is captain, so he is Dabangg."

Rohit hilariously owned up to the title of 'Ghajini,' a nod to the character who famously forgets everything. "This is my real title," Rohit joked. Suryakumar added to the fun, saying, "Naam nahi bhoolte, coin hi bhool jaate hain," (He doesn't forget the names, but the coin itself).

The team also crowned Suryakumar as the "Bluffmaster" due to his innovative 360-degree batting style. Dube praised him, saying, "He is always a step ahead of the bowler and does something different every time."


Kuldeep Yadav was labeled the "Nautanki Saala" (drama king) for his exaggerated reactions during matches. Suryakumar revealed, "Kuldeep sabse zyada nautanki hai. 'Dhoop bahut hai bhaiya. Tamatar ki tarah laal hogye. 'Rohit bhai dhoop hai batting lelo (Kuldeep is the most dramatic. 'It is too hot brother. I have got as red as a tomato in this heat. Let us take batting first, Rohit bhai)."

"Haan. Kuldeep Yadav sabse zyada nautanki hai (Yes, Kuldeep is the most dramatic)," Rohit agreed.

The final showdown of the T20 World Cup at Kensington Oval saw India clinch a nail-biting victory against South Africa. In a game filled with highs and lows, Rohit Sharma led the team with impeccable leadership and crucial contributions.

India broke their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought, thanks to Virat Kohli's stellar knock of 76 runs, Hardik Pandya's sharp bowling (3/20), and Jasprit Bumrah's tight spell (2/18). Despite a powerful 27-ball 52 from Klaasen, India restricted South Africa to 169/8, winning by seven runs to claim the title.
