Wrestler Reetika enters quarter-final
Indian wrestler Reetika Hooda showcased her power and skill as she dominated Hungary's Bernadett Nagy to advance to the quarterfinals of the women's 76 kg freestyle event at the Paris Olympics on Saturday.

The referee halted the match with 29 seconds remaining in the second round, as Reetika secured a commanding 10-point lead, ending the contest with a final score of 12-2 in favour of the Indian wrestler.

Reetika took control early in the match, gaining a 4-0 lead in the first round with a quick leg-hold followed by a flip. Although the Hungarian managed to score a couple of points, Reetika was unstoppable in the second round, executing a series of two-point moves to widen the gap.


Reetika will now face the top-seeded Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan in the quarterfinals later today.
