Both Australia and South Africa began their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign with a win. While South Africa comfortably beat Afghanistan, Australia registered the highest successful run chase of 325 runs in any ICC event.
As per Accuweather, rain is predicted throughout the day in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, February 25. The probability of precipitation around the start time of the match was 50 per cent, and the toss has been delayed. It will come down to 49 per cent and 46 per cent for the next few hours. However, from 6 pm onwards (local time), the rain probability goes up to 75 per cent. For now, it seems like it will only be a drizzle but the umpires will not be eager to get on with the game keeping players' safety in mind.
