Rajya Sabha lauds victory of men's, women's team in Kabaddi World Cup

The Men's team won the Kabaddi World Cup for the fifth consecutive time, while the womens' team victory was fourth in a row.

NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha today congratulated Indian Men's and Women's Kabaddi teams for winning Kabaddi World Cup titles.

The Men's team won the Kabaddi World Cup for the fifth consecutive time, while the womens' team victory was fourth in a row.

The Kabaddi World Cup final was held at Muktsar in Punjab on December 20.

"I hope that both the Indian teams will continue to bring many such laurels to the country in the near future," Chairman Hamid Ansari said while congratulating the two teams.
