At the Commonwealth Games 2022, PV Sindhu won the women's singles gold medal with a commanding performance on Monday. With a score of 21-15, 21-13, Sindhu defeated former CWG gold medalist Michelle Li. This was her first gold and third singles medal from the CWG.
