Punjab Kings IPL 2025 schedule: Full list of matches, dates, timings & venues

The biggest cricket extravaganza, IPL 2025, is set to kick off on March 22, and once again, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be aiming to secure their maiden IPL trophy.

Will this season be different for PBKS? The team can take inspiration from their new captain, Shreyas Iyer, who led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a title victory last season. PBKS will begin their campaign on March 25 against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, four days after the tournament's opening match.

Over the years, Punjab Kings have been labeled the "eternal bridesmaids" of the IPL, having lost several close games and falling short of the title despite strong starts. This season, they begin their journey against Gujarat in Ahmedabad, followed by a match in Lucknow, before returning to their home ground in New Chandigarh to face Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings.


PBKS look like a formidable side this year, having spent a whopping Rs 26.75 crore to acquire Shreyas Iyer. Additionally, they have retained Arshdeep Singh and spin wizard Yuzvendra Chahal for Rs 18 crore each to strengthen their bowling attack.
