About 118 players were auctioned off to the 12 franchises during the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) player auction on October 9-10 in Mumbai. With a price tag of ₹2.6 crore, Pawan Sehrawat of the Telugu Titans was the most expensive player.

The most expensive foreign player ever was Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, who was purchased by Puneri Paltan for ₹2.35 crore. Each franchise had a salary purse of ₹5 crore, which was increased after three seasons from ₹4.4 crore.

Three players received bids of more than ₹2 crore in the auction. Amirmohammad Zafardanesh won the highest offer among the Category C players, receiving a sum of ₹68 lakh from U Mumba. Nitin Kumar, a player in Category D, received the highest offer from the Bengal Warriors, who offered him ₹32.2 lakh.
