Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old batsman from Bihar, who debuted with the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, has made headlines with his powerful and fearless hitting.
PM Modi took to X and praised the budding cricketer while sharing glimpses from their meet.
“At Patna airport, met the young cricketing sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his family. His cricketing skills are being admired all over the nation! My best wishes to him for his future endeavours,” PM Modi said.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been, even before the IPL, making waves in domestic circuits with his impressive performances, and is quickly emerging as one of India’s most promising young cricketers. He went on to score a 35-ball ton in a IPL fixture, marking the second fastest century in the cash-rich tournament.
Suryavanshi became the youngest ever to feature in IPL after he was sold to Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore.
