PBKS vs CSK Playing 11: MS Dhoni, Shreyas Iyer in action but will PBKS and CSK make changes after suffering defeats?

Punjab Kings take on Chennai Super Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.

The hosts, led by Shreyas Iyer won their first two matches, but then lost against Rajasthan Royals in their previous encounter. Ruturaj Gaikwad's CSK, on the other hand, started with a a win at home over Mumbai Indians but have gone o to lose three consecutive matches after that and will be desperate to turn things around.

It is unlikely that PBKS make a lot of changes after just a single defeat. They might consider bringing in left arm spinner Harpreet Brar as the impact substitute, but given CSK's left handed batter, it could be unlikely and Vijaykumar Vyshak or Suryansh Shedge could also be used.


CSK have a lot to ponder upon. It is to be seen if captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway open, with Rachin Ravindra dropping to number 3. With not many options in the middle order, CSK might continue with the same batting unit, while pacer Anshul Kamboj could be used as an impact player.
