In the second relay, Babuta got off to a great start with a sequence that read 10.5, 10.6, 10.5, 10.9, and Ramita finished the second series with 10.2, 10.7, 10.3, and 10.1, their efforts propelling the team into the top 8.
However, they had to do better than what they ultimately did in order to advance to the bronze medal round. China ranked first, Korea ranked second, and Kazakhstan ranked third in the qualifications.
For a team to compete in the medal matches, they must place in the top four.

The shooting action will go on with the men's and women's 10 m air pistol qualifiers are set for 2 pm and 4 pm, respectively.
