India at Olympics 2024: Badminton, boxing, archery and more. What's on today's schedule?

After an action-packed first day at the Paris Olympics, the Indian contingent will continue to progress and find themselves in qualification rounds on Sunday as well.

Once again, tennis, badminton, boxing and shooting are set to take centre stage. A women-dominated day for India at the Games includes key names like PV Sindhu, Nikhat Zareen and Manu Bakher.

The day will begin with the qualification round of women's 10 m air rifle which will feature India's Elavenil Valarivan and Ramita Jindal at around 12.45 PM (all times in IST).


This was be followed by India's stalwart badminton player PV Sindhu taking on Maldives' Fathimath Nabaah at around 12.50 PM.

At around 1 PM, Indian rower Balraj Panwar will be featuring in Men's single sculls repechage and will look to qualify in the quarter finals.

India's table tennis players Sreeja Akula and Manika Batra will be playing in the round of 64 (women's singles) at 2.15 PM and 4 PM respectively followed by Sharath Kamal in men's singles at 3 PM.

Shooters Sandeep Singh, Arjun Babuta would look for redemption as they feature in Men's 10 m air rifle qualification at 2.45 PM.

The much awaited medal round of 10 m air pistol women's single which includes Manu Bakher will be held at around 3.30 PM.

The men's doubles in Tennis will be held at 3.30 PM again featuring Rohan Bopanna and Sriram Balaji.

At around 3.50 PM, India's star boxer Nikhat Zareen will be in the prelims round up against Germany's Maxi Carina.
