One of the pamphlets starts with a slogan "Bharat vijay abhiyan, saksham netrutva ke liye abhiyan (campaign for a competent leadership)". It throws a poser: "You have to decide whether you want to become part of the history or you want to create history?" About 40,000 pamphlets were distributed by Matdata Jagaran Manch, Bhopal. The pamphlets were printed in two different printing places in Bhopal, said RSS member Anil Soumitra.
"It looks imminent that majority community will become history if it doesn't ensure 100% polling," says a one of the pamphlet. "We have been divided with a sword of minority appeasement. They forget the tolerant majority community and reached out to those who issue fatwas," it adds, referring to the April 2 meeting of Sonia Gandhi with Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in Delhi. Another pamphlet says, "China and Pakistan kept encroaching upon our land and beheading our soldiers and the Centre watched silently."
RSS member Soumitra said, "It is a follow-up of RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat's speech on Dussehra last year when he had exhorted Sangh workers to ensure 100% polling in Lok Sabha general elections." He said distribution of the pamphlets started before the first phase of the election on April 10. Such pamphlets were being distributed across the country, he said.
Polling will be held in Madhya Pradesh in 10 LS constituencies of Indore, Ujjain, Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Vidisha, Dewas, Dhar and Betul. Six of them are with the Congress and four with BJP at present.
