Pakistan cricket team ‘felicitation’: A lie or a scheduled tweet?
NEW DELHI: India reclaimed the No 1 spot in the ICC Test rankings following their 178-run win over New Zealand at Eden Gardens on Monday, in the process dislodging Pakistan from the top spot.

It was only ten days back that Pakistan were presented with the ICC Test Championship mace for being No.1 in Tests, which now will be handed over to India. But the news of Pakistan claiming the top spot and then India toppling them seemed to reach Pakistan senate a bit too late.

On Monday, as India were romping home to victory at the Eden Gardens against New Zealand, the Pakistan senate, as reported by Radio Pakistan's twitter handle, passed a resolution unanimously felicitating Pakistan cricket team on the achievement of number one position in Test rankings. But, 20 minutes later, India won at Eden Gardens to reclaim the top spot and rendered the tweet nothing more than a faux pas.

And when it comes to things like these, Twitter-verse doesn't miss any chance to take full advantage of such embarrassing situations.
