Red Bull's Max Verstappen secures first ever Singapore Grand Prix victory
Max Verstappen achieved a significant victory at the Singapore Grand Prix by starting from pole position. He completed a perfect weekend by also winning the sprint race prior to the main event. Charles Leclerc from Ferrari finished in second place...

Ferrari player Charles Leclerc finished second while Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli secured the third spot to extend his championship lead over team mate George Russell.
Max Verstappen, who won the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia last weekend, had never won in Singapore before and he had come into the race weekend stating he had "unfinished business".
"It's taken a while but I think this race was very good. We had pace when we needed to have it on the soft tyre, even though I think the medium tyre for everyone was more of a struggle," he said.
"But it worked out, so of course very happy to win here... The last two races have been really positive for us and it's just great to see."
Lewis Hamilton apologizes to Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton apologized to Ferrari for letting the racing team down with a strategy call that cost him a Formula 1 podium finish.Hamilton's post-race radio message suggested it had been his choice to stay on older tires rather than risk losing position with a second pit stop during the event.
“Sorry boys, I let you down today with that strategy. My call and I lost us valuable points," he said. “I’ll try and make up for it in the next one. Great job with the pit stop, though.”
