Glasgow: India's Unnati Sharma advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's 63kg competition after registering a convincing win by ippon over Eswatini's Lamulela Magagula in the Commonwealth Games here on Saturday.

Unnati wrapped up the Round of 16 contest in just one minute and 39 seconds, scoring an ippon after taking successive waza-ari scores to seal a dominant victory.

Hailing from Dehradun, Unnati will next face New Zealand's Qona Christie later in the day.
