Indian boxer Ankush Panghal (80kg) clinches gold at Asian Games

Indian boxer Ankush Panghal won the men's 80kg gold at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Friday, beating South Korea's Kim Minseong 4-0 in the final. The reigning Commonwealth Games champion added the continental title to the gold he won in Glasgow two months ago.

Panghal controlled the bout with a counter-punching display, using his speed and movement to avoid Kim's attacks while landing clean punches of his own.

The gold was India's third in boxing on the day, after Lovlina Borgohain won the women's 75kg title and Parveen Hooda took the women's 65kg gold.
