Football enthusiasts and fans in India eagerly anticipating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first visit to the country will have to wait a little longer. The much-anticipated tour of the former Manchester United star, initially scheduled from December 15 to 17, has been postponed.

The tour, organised and hosted by Tilak Gaurang Shah, a devoted Manchester United fan and the founder of Ace of Pubs, was set to cover three major cities in India - Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.

“I was very excited to visit India since the day I heard about the craze of football and Manchester United’s fan base from Tilak. Sadly, the tour has to be postponed this time due some unavoidable circumstances. However, I will be coming to India in February to meet the fans and witness the fandom personally,” said Solskjaer.

Solskjaer will now be visiting India in February 2024.

The rescheduled tour in February 2024 will be an exciting opportunity for Indian football enthusiasts to meet the legendary player in person.

“It’s unfortunate that Ole’s India tour has to be postponed. It’s an inevitable situation and I hope the fans will understand. I have discussed the revised plan with him and we are very excited to host the Manchester United legend for his first-ever India tour,” said Tilak.
