No major decisions at BCCI finance committee meeting
It has been learnt that since the Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia was absent, no policy decision was passed at today's meeting.

It has been learnt that since the Congress MP was absent, no policy decision was passed at today's meeting.
"It is a convention that no policy decision can be taken in absence of Finance Committee chairman. Mr Scindia is currently in the United States, so two key proposals namely women cricketers' gradation payments and performance based incentive could not be passed at today's meeting," a senior BCCI official in know of things told PTI today.
"We have only passed the Annual Accounts for the financial year as it is mandatory to have the accounts audited and cleared before the AGM takes place. The policy decisions will now be passed only after AGM when the new session starts in October," the source said.
However there was some bad news for former domestic cricketers.
There was a proposal that BCCI could make one time ex-gratia payment for those cricketers who have played between 50 to 74 first-class matches just like it had been for those who have played 75 and above.
However, it has been learnt that as of now that proposal will not be considered.
Meanwhile, both N Srinivasan and Sharad Pawar have reached Kolkata to attend the Working Committee meeting.
