Jan 16 (The Sports Xchange) - The New York Rangers recalled goaltender Magnus Hellberg from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Hellberg, 25, has a 10-9-4 record with a 2.91 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 25 games for the Wolf Pack this season.

The Buffalo Sabres recalled forward Cal O' Reilly from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

O'Reilly, 30, joins the Sabres for his second recall of the season after playing four games with the team in November.

The Minnesota Wild reassigned forward Kurtis Gabriel to Iowa of the American Hockey League.

Gabriel, 23, has one assist and 24 penalty minutes in 11 games with Minnesota this season.
