Jan 9 (The Sports Xchange) - The Washington Capitals recalled forward Paul Carey from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Carey, 28, made his 20016-17 season debut with Washington on Nov. 20 against Columbus and skated in three games this season, averaging 10:23 of time on ice with three shots on goal.

The Edmonton Oilers recalled left winger Anton Slepyshev from the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.

Slepyshev, 22, appeared in 15 games with the Oilers this season, posting four two goals, two assists and two penalty minutes. The Russia native owns two goals, three assists and four penalty minutes in 25 career NHL games.

The Winnipeg Jets recalled forward Brandon Tanev from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Tanev, 24, has two goals and two assists in 35 games in his rookie season with the Jets. He was reassigned to Manitoba on Dec. 28 and recorded one goal and two assists in five games.

The Nashville Predators reassigned defenseman Petter Granberg to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.
