Sept 7 (The Sports Xchange) - The Philadelphia 76ers re-signed free agent forward Elton Brand on Wednesday.

Over 17 NBA seasons, Brand has appeared in 1,058 career games with 868 starts, posting averages of 15.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 blocks per game. He has played 34,910 career minutes, which ranks him 67th all-time.

Former NBA swingman Stacey Augmon is expected to join the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant coach, according to multiple reports.

Augmon spent four years on the Denver Nuggets' coaching staff before working the past five as an assistant at UNLV, his alma mater.

The Utah Jazz signed free agent forward/guard Quincy Ford to a contract.
