Muthoot Pappachan Group bags title sponsorship of Kerala Blasters FC

KOCHI: Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), a well diversified group with main interest in gold loan business, has bagged title sponsorship of the Kerala Blasters FC, co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar.

MPG has taken the title sponsorship initially for a year, but with an option to renew up to 5 years. This will allow the Group to display its name on the front side of the team’s jersey. The yellow jersey of the team was unveiled here by Sachin Tendulkar on Monday.

The sponsorship will permit the company to use team players in promotional campaigns to sell their products, brand building in the centres where the game will be played and in the use of merchandise inn the name of the team.

MPG Group has a network of 3800 branches spread all over the country. With a customer footfall of 50,000 per day the company will be selling the tickets of the matches, sources said.
