MI vs RCB: Women's Premier League Season 4 kickstarts on Friday with a fan-favourite battle between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. India's women cricketers will return to competitive action, kicking off their build-up to this year's T20 World Cup. Squads led by Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur will lock horns at the DY Patil Stadium on January 9, 2025, marking the first match of WPL 2026.

Mumbai Indians, two-time winners and defending champions will face the only other title-winning side in the WPL, Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in the tournament-opener. The Navi Mumbai Stadium is the home of Indian women's cricket.
