More trouble brewing for BCCI & IPL
NEW DELHI: There seems to be more trouble brewing for the Board of Control for Cricket in India as well as the Indian Premier League and its franchisees. Dissatisfied with the progress in investigation against various entities related to IPL, a lawmakers’ panel in its report tabled in Parliament on Tuesday asked the government to ensure these are concluded expeditiously.

The income tax department has received information from a number of tax jurisdictions including the UK, Mauritius, Bermuda and Jersey on investments into IPL franchisees from entities floated in those places.
