The fixtures for the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League are out, and Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL 2026 campaign with a marquee clash at the Wankhede Stadium.

The five-time champions open their season against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 in Mumbai, one of the headline fixtures of the first weekend. The opening phase of the tournament, announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), will run from March 28 to April 12, with the schedule being released in stages due to assembly elections in several states.

For Mumbai, the early fixtures include a trip to Delhi to face Delhi Capitals on April 4, followed by a neutral-venue clash against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on April 7. Their fourth match of the opening phase will see them return to the Wankhede Stadium for a high-profile game against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 12.
