Sam Konstas represented Australia U19 in the World Cup and played a key role in the team's championship run, scoring scoring 191 runs in seven innings at an average of 27.28, including a century.Konstas was selected for Australia A in their series against India A in October-November. In the second unofficial Test, he played a crucial role with an unbeaten 73 in the second innings, helping secure a victory for his team.
The opener also featured for the Prime Minister’s XI in the pink-ball warm-up match against India at Manuka Oval. He scored a blistering 107 off 97 balls, including 14 fours and a six, against a an Indian bowling attack featuring Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja. This performance further solidified his reputation as a rising star in Australian cricket.
In the ongoing Sheffield Shield season, Konstas is the fifth-highest run-getter with 471 runs in five matches at an average of 58.87, including two centuries and a fifty, with a best score of 152.
