Much-awaited clash between archrivals India and Pakistan
New Delhi: The SC on Thursday refused to allow an urgent listing of a PIL seeking cancellation of the upcoming India-Pakistan T20 cricket match scheduled to be held in Dubai on September 14 as part of the Asia Cup.

The plea, filed by four law students, was mentioned before a division bench comprising Justices JK Maheshwari and Vijay Bishnoi.

The counsel for the petitioners sought listing of the case on Friday as the match is scheduled for Sunday. The court turned down the request while orally observing that the "match must go on".
