The anticipation for the inaugural MotoGP Bharat is building as the countdown to the thrilling racing spectacle enters its final week. Eight-time World Champion, Marc Marquez, a dominant force in the Premier Class, racing for Team Repsol Honda, has offered valuable insights into the intricacies of the Buddh International Circuit (BIC).

As the youngest-ever MotoGP champion, Marquez sheds light on the critical turns and strategic considerations that could prove decisive on the 5.125 km-long track.

In preparation for the 'IndianOil Grand Prix,' Marquez in an interview with TOI, stressed the significance of familiarizing oneself with the unique characteristics of the circuit. He emphasized that riders should focus on mastering the layout and understanding the track's grip while on their bikes.

Marc Marquez outlined three key tips for conquering MotoGP Bharat:

"First of all, what you do is try to work the circuit and find some preferences while discovering the best racing line. Learning the layout is crucial, and when you're on the bike, understanding the track's grip is equally vital," Marquez said in a TOI report.

Secondly, he highlighted the importance of Turn 3 and Turn 4 at the Buddh International Circuit for securing victory. He underlined the significance of promptly sharing information with the team to fine-tune electronic setups, stating, "The third key aspect is to bring the information to the team as soon as possible to have clear data for a correct setup on the electronics."

Expanding on this, Marquez added, "For me, the most critical sections of the track will be Turn 3 and Turn 4, as the remainder of the track is characterized by stop-and-go segments. Additionally, the last corner holds immense importance, serving as the battleground where many races will be decided."

However, the 2023 MotoGP season has been a challenging one for Marc Marquez. He has grappled with his RC213V and has managed just one podium finish, placing him behind KTM's test rider, Dani Pedrosa, in the points table. Despite finishing in the points zone in the last three races, Marquez faces uncertainty regarding his future with Honda.

With Marc Marquez's wealth of experience and the demanding nature of the Buddh International Circuit, there remains a possibility that he may stage a comeback to the podium in MotoGP Bharat.
