Legends League Cricket franchises spend Rs 30.56 crore at player auction; 97 cricketers signed
Legends League Cricket concluded its player auction with six franchises spending ₹30.56 crore to sign 97 players for the upcoming season. Teams still have ₹9 crore left in their purses for direct signings in the coming weeks.

The auction featured competitive bidding for several high-profile names, including Harbhajan Singh, Chris Gayle, Dinesh Karthik, Martin Guptill, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Ross Taylor and Carlos Brathwaite.
Franchises focused on assembling balanced squads with a mix of established batters, bowlers and all-rounders. The signings underline the league’s strategy of combining former international stars to drive competitive cricket and fan engagement.
