KKR appoints Dwayne Bravo as mentor for IPL 2025

KKR made the announcement on their social media handle.
"My mind wants to keep going, but my body can no longer endure the pain, the breakdowns, and the strain," Bravo wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
"I can't put myself in a position where I might let down my teammates, my fans, or the teams I represent.
"So, with a heavy heart, I officially announce my retirement from the sport."
Bravo is the most successful T20 bowler with 631 wickets across international and league cricket. The Trinidad-born cricketer also scored nearly 7,000 runs in the format.
He played 40 Tests, 164 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 91 T20Is for West Indies and was part of their T20 World Cup-winning side in 2016.
He played 161 IPL matches for Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Giants and picked up 183 wickets at an economy of 8.39 runs per over. He was also a handy batter down the order, scoring 1,560 runs with five half centuries. The all-rounder won the league with CSK
