Jindal Panther beats Sona Polo to win Amity Polo Cup trophy
Simran Shergill, who scored three goals for the winning team in the final, was adjudged the ‘most valuable player’ of the tournament.

In a hard-fought game, Jindal Panther started with ½ goal and Miguel Saravia got the first breakthrough at the very beginning of the 1st chukker while Vishal Singh converted a 60-yard penalty for Sona Polo.
Presenting the Polo Cup Trophy to the winning team, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder-President, Amity Group, said the organisation will hold more such events to help the underprivileged sections of the society.
The tournament was played on half league basis with seasoned polo players of handicap +5 and +6.
Other dignitaries at the event included Dr Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation and Amity International Schools; Atul Chauhan-Chancellor, Amity University and Pooja Chauhan-Vice Chairperson.
Talking about Amity's reach out plan for the underpriviledged, Pooja Chauhan said the group's flagship programmes, AMITASHA and ATULASHA, were helping underprivileged children by providing them free of cost education in an unbiased and non-discriminative manner.
