A video of iconic Pathan brothers, Yusuf and Irfan, that has caught the attention of fans online is where the ace bowler Irfan was seen getting angry at brother for being responsible for his run out.

Similar case was seen in an IPL match where Irfan took a skier of a catch to dismiss Yusuf, playing for the opposite team. The catch completed, Irfan did not even celebrate.

Why did Irfan shout at brother?
During the 18th over of the World Championship of Legends 2024 match between India Champions and South Africa Champions at Northampton's County Ground, tensions flared between the Pathan brothers. Irfan Pathan, facing a delivery from Dale Steyn, struck the ball to deep covers and the brothers attempted a quick single. Irfan, keen for a second run, set off halfway down the pitch, while Yusuf, fixated on the ball, gestured for him to stay put. Despite Yusuf's signal, Irfan turned to return but was caught short by Steyn's accurate throw back to the stumps, resulting in his run-out.

A visibly frustrated Irfan expressed his disappointment, directing his ire towards Yusuf, seemingly accusing him of not paying attention. In response, Yusuf, also clearly upset, shouted back, creating a moment of tension between the usually cohesive siblings on the field.
