The Indian cricket board has decided to bring forward the full fledged player auction for the Indian Premier League T20 cricket tournament by a year.

New Delhi: The Indian cricket board has decided to bring forward the full fledged player auction for the Indian Premier League T20 cricket tournament by a year. IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla was reported as saying on Sunday that the full fledged auction will now be held in 2017.

He also said the two new teams in the next edition of IPL will be finalised by the BCCI by December 8, 2015. Shukla is also reported as saying that the base price for the two new teams to be auctioned will be Rs 40 crore.
