IPL Retention Day: Check the full list of players released and retained by Delhi Capitals

On Sunday, November 26, the Indian Premier League trading for the 2024 season is happening. All of the participating teams experienced some roster shuffles in the lead-up to the auction, as was to be expected. The fans were taken aback by several names, including as Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandya. The squads did, however, see some intriguing additions and adjustments, particularly from Delhi Capitals.

On December 19, the auction is set to happen at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. The budget for each team would be Rs 100 crore, up from Rs 95 crore the year before.

The auction will be placed outside of India for the first time this time. The auction was ultimately conducted in Kochi last year, although the BCCI had originally intended for it to take place in Istanbul.


The Delhi-based team experienced frequent league stage failure in 2023, placing them ninth in the points rankings.
