IPL Qualifier 2: RR's briliant bowling limits SRH to 175/9 in 20 overs

RR's bowlers continue to chip away, picking wickets at regular intervals to never let SRH's tremendous batting line-up to cut-loose.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) put up a brilliant display of bowling, managing to restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to a total of 156 runs in 20 overs of play in the first innings.

RR's bowlers continue to chip away, picking wickets at regular intervals to never let SRH's tremendous batting line-up to cut-loose.

Trent Boult and Avesh Khan complemented each other well to took three wickets each.


Besides Boult (3/45) and Avesh Khan (3/27), Sandeep Sharma (2/25) also got two wickets after RR won the toss and elected to bowl.

For SRH, Heinrich Klaasen top-scored with a 34-ball 50, while Travis Head (34), Rahul Tripathi (37) failed to convert good starts into big scores.

Shahbaz Ahmed's little cameo of 18 runs gave them a sligh edge in the end.
