After ending their long wait for an IPL title last season, RCB have continued their impressive run under Rajat Patidar. The Bengaluru franchise finished atop the league standings with nine wins from 14 matches and booked a direct berth in the final after crushing Gujarat Titans by 92 runs in Qualifier 1.
Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, have scripted a remarkable turnaround under the leadership of Shubman Gill. The Titans secured a top-two finish with 18 points from 14 league games before storming into the final with a dominant win over Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2.
The two sides last faced each other in Qualifier 1 at Dharamshala's HPCA Stadium, where RCB delivered a one-sided performance to register a commanding 92-run victory. As they meet again in the title clash, RCB will be aiming to retain the trophy and claim a second consecutive crown, while GT will look to avenge that defeat and lift their second IPL title in front of their home fans.
