However, an X user has shared a video showing a large group of dancers rehearsing for what is being described as the closing ceremony. The same user has also claimed that singer Kailash Kher is expected to perform at the event. These details have not been confirmed by the BCCI.

Earlier, IPL chairman Arun Dhumal had indicated a more restrained approach to celebrations following the Bengaluru stampede incident in 2025, which led to the deaths of 11 people during RCB victory celebrations. The season had opened in Bengaluru with a tribute to the victims.

While official confirmation remains pending, the IPL is expected to feature a mid-innings entertainment segment during the final, similar to arrangements seen in Qualifier 1 in Dharamshala, which included a violin performance, light and laser show, and fireworks.
