IPL 2026 Playoffs Schedule Out: BCCI unveils schedule and venues; final goes to Narendra Modi Stadium

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the schedule for the IPL playoffs, with the final set to be held at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for the second time in three seasons.

Qualifier 1 will be played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on May 26, while the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 will both take place at the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on May 27 and May 29 respectively.

Narendra Modi Stadium to Host IPL 2026 Final

The tournament summit clash will be staged on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the world’s largest cricket venue, which also hosted the IPL final in 2023.

The playoffs schedule comes as the race for the top four spots intensifies heading into the closing phase of the league stage.

Currently, at the top of the table, Punjab Kings lead the standings with 13 points, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans are all locked on 12 points, setting up a tightly contested playoff race.
