IPL 2026: Aussie cricketers Marcus Stoinis, Cooper Connolly join Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings have been bolstered by the arrival of Australian duo Marcus Stoinis and Cooper Connolly, who joined the squad in Mohali on Tuesday ahead of the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League.

The two players linked up with the squad as preparations enter the final phase for the upcoming season. They were welcomed at the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh, with both cricketers appearing upbeat on arrival.

Their inclusion adds depth to the Punjab Kings lineup, combining Stoinis’ international experience with Connolly’s emerging talent.

Punjab Kings, runners-up in the previous edition, have been training intensively in recent weeks and are now gearing up for their season opener against Gujarat Giants on March 31 at home.
