As the IPL 2025 auction is approaching, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has captured the spotlight once again. During Australia’s first T20I against Pakistan in Brisbane, Maxwell became only the third Australian to score 10,000 T20 runs, joining elite company with David Warner and Aaron Finch and becoming the 16th player globally to achieve this feat.

His record-breaking performance has fans buzzing on social media, speculating that Maxwell’s T20 prowess could attract bids upwards of Rs 10 crore in the upcoming IPL season.

Maxwell reached this milestone with a blistering 43 off just 19 balls, a knock studded with five boundaries and three sixes at an incredible strike rate of 226.31. This quickfire innings may have fueled excitement among IPL franchises looking to bolster their line-ups.
