IPL 2024: Rashid Khan, Rahul Tewatia script thrilling win for Gujarat; Rajasthan lose first match of season

Gujarat Titans registered a thrilling three-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the IPL match on Wednesday in Jaipur.

Batting first, Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson forged a 130-run parternship to power Rajasthan Royals (RR) to 196/3 against Gujarat Titans.

Parag finished off as the highest scorer for RR with 76 off 48 while captain Samson remained unbeaten by scoring 68 off 38 balls.


In reply, Gujarat Titans struggled early on and looked in dire straits at 157 for six in 17.3 overs but then Rashid Khan (24 not out) and Rahul Tewatia (22) stiched a crucial partnership to set the stage for the last over thriller.

GT skipper Shubman Gill top-scored with a 44-ball 72.
