IPL 2024 Orange cap: With 181 runs in total, Virat Kohli jumps to the top of the table

In the IPL 2024, RCB's Virat Kohli has reclaimed the Orange Cap. Kohli now has 181 runs in his account.

On March 29, Kohli struck an undefeated 83 runs against KKR at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, smashing his 52nd half-century in 36 deliveries.

With that, he overtook Heinrich Klaasen, the hard-hitting wicketkeeper from Hyderabad, to take the lead in runs scored in the 2024 Indian Premier League.


Second place goes to Heinrich Klaasen of SRH, who scored 143 runs overall. Third place goes to RR's Riyan Parag, who has 127 runs. Sanju Samson of RR is currently in fourth place with 97 runs.

One of the other milestones that Kohli achieved tonight was surpassing the illustrious AB de Villiers to become Bengaluru's all-time leading scorer of sixes (239).
