IPL 2024 Orange Cap: Virat Kohli remains at top, Abhishek Sharms joins in top 5

After Friday's Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Chennai Super Kings game in Hyderabad, a new name, Abhishek Sharma, moved up into the top five of the orange cap table, which still included Royal Challengers Bengaluru hitter Virat Kohli at the top.

With a blistering 37 off 12 balls, Abhishek overtook Sai Sudharsan to take fifth place on the list of players with the most runs scored in the 2024 Indian Premier League. Heinrich Klaasen, a teammate, ranks third with 177 runs.

First on the list is Virat Kohli of RCB with 203 runs in four matches having a strike rate of 140.


Second comes Riyan Parag of RR with 181 runs in three matches having a strike rate of 160.

Third place goes to Heinrich Klaasen of SRH with 177 runs in four matches having a strike rate of 203.

Fourth in the list is Shubhman Gill captain of GT with 164 runs in four matches having a strike rate of 159.

Abhishek Sharms hold the fifth position after his amazing knock against CSK. Currently with 161 runs in four matches with a strike rate of 217.
