The Board of Control for Cricket in India, the world's richest cricket board, today invited bids from reputed entities for acquiring the so-called Title Sponsor Rights for all BCCI events.

The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights and obligations, etc. have been provided in the ‘Invitation to Tender’ (“ITT”) which will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,00,000 plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax, the board said in a statement.

The ITT will be available for purchase till August 21, 2023.

In June, fantasy gaming platform Dream11 had won the BCCI's lead sponsor rights reportedly for Rs 358 crore. Last year in September, BCCI had announced that Mastercard had acquired title sponsorship rights for all BCCI international and domestic home matches.

Indian cricket will be part of marquee events such as ASia Cup and ODI World CUp, which are however not poperties of the BCCI.

The BCCI had last month announced senior men's team schedule for International home matches comprising 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20Is in the home season 2023-24.
