Indian shot putter Manpreet Kaur fails doping test

Asian Athletics Championships Gold medalist and India's leading shot putter Manpreet Kaur has failed a doping test.

Kaur was tested positive for a banned substance during a trial done by National Anti-Doping Agency in Patiala from last month. Kaur, who has qualified for next month's World Athletics Championships in London, will now have to appear before disciplinary panel to prove her innocence and save her gold medal.
